Summer Vacation

Madelyn loved the beach a lot.

Samuel went to the beach for the 1st time and wasn't so sure of it. I think he liked it in the end.

The girls had a great time. But got some major sand wedgies.

Samuel was really not so sure about the beach and was very concerned about his sandy feet.

We went to Disneyland and had a blast! Maddi was so brave and went on almost all the rides that she could. Bailee had a great time too. They love Disneyland.

Maddi even got to fight that bad guy. And was trained to be a Jedi Knight!

Samuel really liked the Dumbo ride. I think that might have been his favorite part. At the very end of the day he kept yelling that he wanted to go home right now! Maybe it wasn't his most happiest place on earth.

This is the O from the CALIFORNIA in front of the California Disney park. Yup, pretty cool.

Bailee with the most sought after character in Disneyland. Mickey is one of Samuels favorites but was really done with the whole Disney experience so he didn't take his picture with him. But Bailee did and can you believe that she is almost as tall as Mickey? Crazy!

We had such a great time visiting with everyone. And even the kids were good in the car. It really was a great vacation.

The End to a Perfect Summer

A day full of fun always ends with a few sleeping kids. She had so much fun dancing and playing she passed out in the bus before we got back to our room.

Here is Sam and me. Those of you who don't know Sam, she is my best friend, we've known each other since High School and have remained BFF ever since. She looked so beautiful and the wedding was so amazing. She did a fantastic job. Congrats Sam and Jason!

Here's our happy family. We took so many photos of us and this was the only one that turned out half way decent. Look at us aren't we spiffy looking? Hahahaha!

We had an amazing experience. One of them was having our hair and makeup done for the big day. Bailee and Madelyn thought that was really fun. We all felt like princesses.

Madelyn Turns 4!!!!!!!!!

It all ended when they passed out in the car on the way to get dinner.

But before that they made their own dunking tank and had a blast!

Maddi got a "4 wheeler" and didn't want to get off of it even when the battery died.

She was so excited to open presents, of course what 4 year old isn't?

She enjoyed her cupcakes. It was a Hannah Montana cake.

She was super excited to eat it.

They all had so much fun Maddi couldn't wait for this day she was so excited. The weather was perfect. It has been so rainy and over cast and humid, but today was amazing! She felt so loved. Thank you to the Grandparents who called to wish her a Happy Birthday that made her day! We love you Maddi you are an amazing little girl!

Samuel is 2!

Samuel turned 2 on June 24th I can't believe that 2 years have come and gone so quickly. He is such a joy to have in the family. He is so smart and talks so much. He loves to give hugs and high fives. He really likes to play with things he's not supposed to like, dvd players, cell phones, computers and daddies glasses. He copies everything that Madelyn does even the tantrums so if Maddi is happy so is he, if she is sad he is too, and if she is mad he's mad too. He is also a mommas boy and I love it. We love you Samuel! Happy Birthday!

Vacation Rocks!

Maddi and Savana played so good together. They were so cute. Madelyn will miss her friend.

Aren't they so cute with their painted faces. This swing was a constant source of fun.

All the cousins are so cute and "cooperative".

Underdoggies are the best!

We went to Utah on vacation and had a blast. We went for the 4th and stayed a week. We went to a water park that was super fun and hung out with cousins and grandma and grandpa. And the part that Bailee and Maddi were super excited for was seeing Miley Cyrus at the Stadium of Fire. There was also a festival downtown Provo that we took the kids to and they got their faces painted and played on a big play structure. We had such a great time. Thank you to grandma who was so willing to watch the kids and feed us all. You are wonderful. While we were leaving to go home Samuel kept saying good bye to grandma and grandpa for about 30 minutes into our drive. I think that they were his favorite part. All in all we had a great time.

1 year ago: We had just gotten back from being in Cancun Mexico and dealing with not having someone make my bed or make my meals for me. Ahhh...good times.

Yesterday: I did about 8 loads of laundry and even put them away. I also got a new cell phone cause my old one was dropped in a toilet.

5 snacks I enjoy: Chips and salsa, yogurt, ice cream Sundays, fruit and pringles.

5 Books I like: Time Travelers Wife, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and The Host.

5 places I’d love to run away to: California, Hawaii, Mexico, somewhere in Europe and any place that is warmer than here.

5 bad habits: procrastination, getting annoyed easily, eating, shopping when I have no money too, and staying up too late.

5 pet peeves: Hearing and/or seeing people eat their food, slow drivers, slow people, forgetting things I shouldn't, and whining.

5 things I like doing: Being by my self, having date night with Conan, reading, shopping and being on vacation somewhere.

5 things I would never wear: Spandex pants, hair net, really tight clothes, stilettos, and fishnet tights.

Gymboree!

When I worked at Gymboree they changed the logo and the way Gymbo looked, so they were getting rid of all the things with the old Gymbo and logo. Some of those things were some mats and some foam shapes. My old boss thought it would be a waste to just through these things out so she asked if I wanted them and so of course I took them, how could I not? So now they are used to make cool forts and to play house. And occasionally they are used to play Spongebob. The thing that they are in is Spongebobs "house". We also have a half dome they use for Patricks "house". They have so much fun that I signed Maddi and Samuel up for classes at our Gymboree here. Wow! they are so expensive! They love it though, they never want to leave.
