It was Conan's birthday too. Bailee and him have the same birthday. He's only 34! You are such a great husband and dad. We love you so much. You will always be the 23 year old that I fell in love with. Thank you for all the things that you do for us. You are such a caring person and think of others. Thank you for being in our lives. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

She's 9! That's Crazy!

Bailee had a sleepover party for her 9th birthday. She had so much fun with all of her friends.
This is my attempt to make a monkey cake. It turned out pretty good.

And of course she loves monkeys so there was no surprise that she got monkeys for her birthday.
Bailee was born on March 27th, 2000 at 1:45am. She was so cute and had so much hair. She was such a good baby hardly ever cried. She was my little buddy, she went everywhere with me. And everywhere we would go people would say, "She looks just like Shirley Temple." She has been such a joy and a blessing in our lives. We love you Bailee!

Maddi's "new" hair

So as most girls do, we don't like something about our bodies. For Madelyn and Bailee they wish their hair was straight.
So when I was straitening my hair one day Maddi asked what I was doing and I told her, she was so excited she wanted me to do it to her hair. She loved it! She looks like a different kid! She is so cute! We love you Maddi no matter what kind of hair you have.

Christmas 2008

We had a great Christmas. Madelyn asked Santa for a Baby Alive doll that goes potty. Yes it poops and pees. Kind of gross. But she loves it.
Samuel got a big boy, big wheel, lucky guy now he doesn't have to ride the pink and purple Barbie big wheel anymore.

Bailee got a ton of Webkins, which is what she asked for from Santa. She spent most of the day playing on Webkins.com.

The Stockings were so full that Santa had to put them on the couch so they wouldn't fall off.

All of the kids wanted footie pj's. Little did I know that they wanted them just so they can slide down the stairs faster. Lesson learned! HA HA! We had a really fun Christmas, we hope everyone else did too.

Snowy Fun!

It started snowing and was super fun!
I needed to get Christmas card pictures done, so we went out in the freezing cold.

These were perfect so we were done in 7 min. And then had hot chocolate in the warm house.
The next couple of days it snowed off and on, and then......more snow than anyone has seen in a long time.
We lost power for over 24 hours. And it got so cold in our house we snuggled together at night just to stay warm!

It was an adventure I really don't want to repeat. But makes a pretty great story.

It took Conan 2 hours to dig us out. We had to take my parents to the airport since they were visiting. They came from India and were used to 90 degree weather and came to our Winter Scary Land. Needless to say they were happy to get out of here and go to California.

Sometimes Daddy's ideas aren't the best....like jumping in 2 feet of snow in your jammies to do a snow angel. Hmmm, always good times.

Good times!

We made gingerbread houses and had such a good time.
Even Samuel joined in the fun. He really just liked to eat the candy, what 2 year old doesn't?

Madelyn made her's but, the candy didn't stay on long.

Conan made his too. It was so much fun.

Bailee's candy stayed on for a very long time. She designed it herself. She did a great job!

A couple of weeks later we went to see Santa Clause and the kids loved it especially Samuel. Maddi did make a note for Santa asking for a paticular present. She's a girl who knows what she wants.

We had a great Thanksgiving. I always make a big dinner and it's always just Conan and I who eat it. The kids ate olives, corn and rolls. They were missing out because everything tasted really good.

We still had a great dinner.

I love fall!

We all had so much fun picking out pumpkins. Here in Oregon there are so many places to pick your pumpkins. We have been going to this pumpkin patch since we moved here. It's a lot of fun. Samuel was just interested in pushing the wagon.

Madelyn wanted every pumpkin.

Bailee had a great time. But was a little freaked out because that scarecrow doesn't look real, but it was really a person dressed as a scarecrow. So when it moved all the kids freaked out a little.

We carved a pumpkins, well mom and dad carved the pumpkins and the kids supervised. I thought they wouldn't like taking the guts out but they did. That is my least favorite part.

After they were done they didn't look too bad. They were so proud of them and showed everyone that came to our house.

Bailee wanted to be the Statue of Liberty for Halloween. I figured instead of buying the costume I could make it.....I probably should have bought it. But she still is the cutest Statue of Liberty I've every seen.

Madelyn was Tinker Bell and Samuel was Spiderman. He really wasn't sure about the costume and was pretty shy going to peoples houses. But as soon as he saw that everyone was handing out candy he was all over it. And of course Madelyn was running to every house. And Bailee was having a great time with her friends. We had a lot of fun. I hope everyone else did too.
