Good times!

We made gingerbread houses and had such a good time.
Even Samuel joined in the fun. He really just liked to eat the candy, what 2 year old doesn't?

Madelyn made her's but, the candy didn't stay on long.

Conan made his too. It was so much fun.

Bailee's candy stayed on for a very long time. She designed it herself. She did a great job!

A couple of weeks later we went to see Santa Clause and the kids loved it especially Samuel. Maddi did make a note for Santa asking for a paticular present. She's a girl who knows what she wants.

We had a great Thanksgiving. I always make a big dinner and it's always just Conan and I who eat it. The kids ate olives, corn and rolls. They were missing out because everything tasted really good.

We still had a great dinner.

I love fall!

We all had so much fun picking out pumpkins. Here in Oregon there are so many places to pick your pumpkins. We have been going to this pumpkin patch since we moved here. It's a lot of fun. Samuel was just interested in pushing the wagon.

Madelyn wanted every pumpkin.

Bailee had a great time. But was a little freaked out because that scarecrow doesn't look real, but it was really a person dressed as a scarecrow. So when it moved all the kids freaked out a little.

We carved a pumpkins, well mom and dad carved the pumpkins and the kids supervised. I thought they wouldn't like taking the guts out but they did. That is my least favorite part.

After they were done they didn't look too bad. They were so proud of them and showed everyone that came to our house.

Bailee wanted to be the Statue of Liberty for Halloween. I figured instead of buying the costume I could make it.....I probably should have bought it. But she still is the cutest Statue of Liberty I've every seen.

Madelyn was Tinker Bell and Samuel was Spiderman. He really wasn't sure about the costume and was pretty shy going to peoples houses. But as soon as he saw that everyone was handing out candy he was all over it. And of course Madelyn was running to every house. And Bailee was having a great time with her friends. We had a lot of fun. I hope everyone else did too.

Summer Vacation

Madelyn loved the beach a lot.

Samuel went to the beach for the 1st time and wasn't so sure of it. I think he liked it in the end.

The girls had a great time. But got some major sand wedgies.

Samuel was really not so sure about the beach and was very concerned about his sandy feet.

We went to Disneyland and had a blast! Maddi was so brave and went on almost all the rides that she could. Bailee had a great time too. They love Disneyland.

Maddi even got to fight that bad guy. And was trained to be a Jedi Knight!

Samuel really liked the Dumbo ride. I think that might have been his favorite part. At the very end of the day he kept yelling that he wanted to go home right now! Maybe it wasn't his most happiest place on earth.

This is the O from the CALIFORNIA in front of the California Disney park. Yup, pretty cool.

Bailee with the most sought after character in Disneyland. Mickey is one of Samuels favorites but was really done with the whole Disney experience so he didn't take his picture with him. But Bailee did and can you believe that she is almost as tall as Mickey? Crazy!

We had such a great time visiting with everyone. And even the kids were good in the car. It really was a great vacation.

The End to a Perfect Summer

A day full of fun always ends with a few sleeping kids. She had so much fun dancing and playing she passed out in the bus before we got back to our room.

Here is Sam and me. Those of you who don't know Sam, she is my best friend, we've known each other since High School and have remained BFF ever since. She looked so beautiful and the wedding was so amazing. She did a fantastic job. Congrats Sam and Jason!

Here's our happy family. We took so many photos of us and this was the only one that turned out half way decent. Look at us aren't we spiffy looking? Hahahaha!

We had an amazing experience. One of them was having our hair and makeup done for the big day. Bailee and Madelyn thought that was really fun. We all felt like princesses.

Madelyn Turns 4!!!!!!!!!

It all ended when they passed out in the car on the way to get dinner.

But before that they made their own dunking tank and had a blast!

Maddi got a "4 wheeler" and didn't want to get off of it even when the battery died.

She was so excited to open presents, of course what 4 year old isn't?

She enjoyed her cupcakes. It was a Hannah Montana cake.

She was super excited to eat it.

They all had so much fun Maddi couldn't wait for this day she was so excited. The weather was perfect. It has been so rainy and over cast and humid, but today was amazing! She felt so loved. Thank you to the Grandparents who called to wish her a Happy Birthday that made her day! We love you Maddi you are an amazing little girl!

Samuel is 2!

Samuel turned 2 on June 24th I can't believe that 2 years have come and gone so quickly. He is such a joy to have in the family. He is so smart and talks so much. He loves to give hugs and high fives. He really likes to play with things he's not supposed to like, dvd players, cell phones, computers and daddies glasses. He copies everything that Madelyn does even the tantrums so if Maddi is happy so is he, if she is sad he is too, and if she is mad he's mad too. He is also a mommas boy and I love it. We love you Samuel! Happy Birthday!

Vacation Rocks!

Maddi and Savana played so good together. They were so cute. Madelyn will miss her friend.

Aren't they so cute with their painted faces. This swing was a constant source of fun.

All the cousins are so cute and "cooperative".

Underdoggies are the best!

We went to Utah on vacation and had a blast. We went for the 4th and stayed a week. We went to a water park that was super fun and hung out with cousins and grandma and grandpa. And the part that Bailee and Maddi were super excited for was seeing Miley Cyrus at the Stadium of Fire. There was also a festival downtown Provo that we took the kids to and they got their faces painted and played on a big play structure. We had such a great time. Thank you to grandma who was so willing to watch the kids and feed us all. You are wonderful. While we were leaving to go home Samuel kept saying good bye to grandma and grandpa for about 30 minutes into our drive. I think that they were his favorite part. All in all we had a great time.
